WORKSHOP “CARING FOR HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT AND PREVENTING SUMMER DISEASES IN CHILDREN” – A LOVING JOURNEY AND GOLDEN KNOWLEDGE FOR PARENTS

On the morning of June 21, 2025, ӽ紫ý successfully hosted the event “Caring for healthy development and preventing summer diseases in children,” which attracted a large number of parents and their adorable children.
At the workshop, HFH doctors shared extremely useful knowledge with the parents:
Dr. Phan Thi Thu Minh, Pediatric and Neonatal Department, helped parents understand the important developmental milestones during the first five years of a child’s life, how to assess growth through various criteria, and how to recognize abnormal signs such as poor weight gain, obesity, short stature, microcephaly, macrocephaly, and more. Dr. Minh emphasized the importance of monitoring and early detection of developmental issues to enable timely intervention, giving children the best chance for optimal growth.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Dung, Department of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Medicine, shared information about abnormal walking patterns in children, focusing on the development of lower limb bones and common gait patterns in toddlers, especially flat feet- a concern for many parents. She also guided parents on how to identify and address these issues promptly to avoid long-term impact on children’s mobility.
On the topic of summer illness prevention, Dr. Minh provided practical knowledge about common summer diseases such as fever and rash, hand, foot, and mouth disease. Parents were instructed on prevention methods, early symptom recognition, when to seek medical care, and proper home care for their children.
Through this workshop, attendees gained practical benefits, including:
- Updating scientific and accurate knowledge about comprehensive child development during the early years, helping parents feel more confident on their parenting journey.
- Early recognition of physical and motor abnormalities, enabling timely intervention to minimize long-term complications.
- Mastering prevention and management of common summer illnesses in children, protecting their health during the hot months.
- Direct interaction and Q&A with a team of experienced specialists, providing personalized advice for parents.
ӽ紫ý sincerely thanks all the parents and children who took the time to attend and accompany us in this meaningful event. We hope that the knowledge and experiences shared at the workshop will be valuable tools to help families care for their children’s healthy and happy development.
